I have a GC2 and TGC2019. Which other software would you recommend for training, with a focus on ball data and analytics?

imo, FSX Pro is much more of a fitting program. Not sure how it would be training, but FSX is great for training and I don't think you can buy Pro...it just comes with FSX.
From the site:
"Please note: FSX Pro Studio is free to download but requires an active FSX 2018/2020 license and associated FSX Live account."

Fsx Pro Training….all about understanding the dispersion numbers range/spray and improving those over time but only working with carry numbers, that’s what we use them for combined with fsx2020 pitch n putt course to see if wedges are improving.

I'm not sure how that could possibly be better than just using the standard skills challenge in FSX or building your own custom skills challenge where your goal is to land on the target and not care about score. I do both and have lots of custom challenges set up for myself. Speaking of which...I haven't done these in a while--that's my task today. Thanks!

Because FSX doesn’t work with Carry. All the dispersion stuff is total and we never coach total when doing numbers work. Admittedly, you have to get creative with FSX pro, I even developed overlays for different games … anyway it works for my players and they are improving.

How does FSX not work with carry? Have looked at the table view? It shows all of your carry as well as everything else. No prob if you like Pro better for that, but not sure what you have against FSX. I just think it's better unless you're looking for gaps in your set.

The fsx2020 offline (dispersion) is based on total, so if I’m carrying my wedge 100yards ands it’s 2yards offline but rolls 8 yards then FSX2020 says it’s 10yards offline, so if your working on hitting a dartboard (areas of green) and controlling spin, the total numbers are useless…,,we did use the iPad app as it’s offline was carry based, but now fsxPro does it all.
I think I’ve had this discussion with other forum members about improving FSX2020 custom challenges (which we also use heavily for performance testing) where the point scores could be based on Carry or Total as a setting not just total.
Gaps…no I’m talking about elite juniors at +3 that need carry as there main focus parameter with every club then they adjust depending on weather and green conditions (real world).
So a game I developed (software coded runs over top of fsxPro using its data ) would be lights out, your trying to turn off areas of a virtual green with a radius of X from a distance Y using a carry number. The green can be split into as many areas as you want, like a dart board, it’s high skill. But users can use the result to be based on carry or total, we only use carry though! Every Pro I have talked to works mainly on carry but understands how much roll or spin will occur depending on weather, green and other variable conditions.
still love fsx2020 though…looking forward to FSXplay.

That's great, thanks for the extra info! Yes, agreed that it would be huge if you could make a custom challenge to only count where the ball carries to. When I do this, I have to just watch and remember where I landed and not worry about points. And the rollout is often totally wrong on FSX anyway.
