Del Monte Golf Course for FSX-Play

What happened with this free course add-on for FSX-Play that was supposed to be available April 1st?

"This $250 course is offered FREE for all FSX Play upgrade customers who purchase through March 31, 2022.
Del Monte Golf Course will be available to download April 1st, 2022".

Has anyone received this course yet?

I purchased FSX Play prior to this being announced and am hoping all orders prior will be grandfathered in for this free course also.

That is a good question. Foresight hardware is really good . Their software and release mechanisms are amateur hour to the max.
I have a support ticket in with them asking for some info regarding feature release for FSX PLAY timelines such as camera integration and local support said they will ask the question .
Crickets so far, and absolutely will never buy anything from them without seeing guarantees of capability beforehand.
Their hardware largely is great , I have gc2/Hmt which I really like , however their software offerings are dire.

When I purchase FSXplay the email said it would be released "soon", and we would be notified when it was available to us.

May have been one but I don't recall a date being associated with the release.

Yeah, I remembered seeing the date as well, but I also remember that they will START contacting people individually to give access...that's from memory though. I asked on Discord if anyone had been contacted yet but nobody. Somewhere else, it said "early April" so who knows.

Long overdue for a updated version of FSX Play as well. Last was Feb 24th and changed very little.

Del Monte is available for download. I don’t have activation code yet tho. Maybe those are coming soon?

Thanks, I downloaded & installed it. Now I have to wait and see if Foresight sends me an activation code, fingers crossed.

I was checking on camera integration and got a reply from
support that FSX Play does not have video feature and that future releases (after FSX 2020) will not have the added feature of cameras.

They are pushing the 3rd party route with swing catalyst.

Agree, it is a bit disappointing, one of the features I really liked in FSX 2020 was the auto replay of dual video cameras within the software architecture. I don't need high end cameras or software on subscription basis so for me buying Play is a downgrade.

I'm with you. A Reasonable camera set up is what most people need. I don't think the vast majority of their customers are Tour Players. This will keep me from upgrading to "Play." I will likely just purchase E6 to run with my GC Quad.

As long as you purchased any time before end of March you get the course. I emailed them about it and had code in about 10 mins.
