Contemplating selling my Gc2/Hmt on my own and upgrade to the cpo quad. Is it worth it and any insights are appreciated!

It's not necessary. I upgraded and have no regrets. An opportunity arose and I upgraded.

I just upgraded. I went new Quad as I wanted portability and the putting piece. Sold my GC2, HMT and Laptop to a buddy to offset the cost. Not sure I needed to, but it was a want and glad I did.Comment

Did your reps try to push you to trade in your gc2 for something like 2k, or tell you to have to purchase fsx2020 again even if you already own it?Comment

No pressure at all. I did ask what the GC2 and HMT were worth in a trade and I knew I could sell it to a friend at a more fair price than what they are selling on Ebay, etc. As for the deals, I was thrilled to see the putting add-on for $1000, versus the $2500. They did offer the Putting add on at the time of sale for $2k. I wanted to try it before dropping any more money but at the $1000 price, I did purchase it yesterday. Gives us something else to play with this winter.
I did purchase the 2nd camera and a tripod so we have both images facing and down the line.
Decided since I went this far I totally re-vamped the spot in the garage for a new sim look. Happy with the results

More like like $750 for gc2 and another 2k for hmt when it’s selling between 6-7 k on average as a package. They’re under pressure now being part of PE backed to produce revenue hence the continuous promotions especially for software which is all margin.Comment

Ok, last time I checked a year ago my rep insisted I could not buy a gcquad without fsx2020 unless I traded in my gc2. So I didn’t upgrade, but would like to sell my gc2/hmt on my own and keep my fsx2020/play and just get the quad standalone…Comment
