FSX 2020 to FSX Play courses

I try not to think about it too often but I just ran thru my courses for FSX 2020 and I still have 11 courses that are unavailable for FSX Play. At $150 per course I'm sitting on $1650 of purchased courses that I can't use in FSX Play. I feel like at some point they really need to just bite the bullet and give us replacement course so we can all move on. Some of these FSX 2020 courses were among my favorites to play (ie Abu Dhabi, Balleyowen, Doral, ect). I know FSX Play still isn't at full speed as far as functionality goes but the graphics and playability are amazing. I'm not going anywhere Foresight (been using all the software since FR1) so just want something for my money already spent.

I hear you there but if the courses are completely unplayable because of glitches then it doesn’t even matter. I have at least 4 courses that are completely unplayable. Either the frame rate drops to 10 fps or the i get hazard penalties in the middle of the fairway or even worse you go into a hazard area that is completely unplayable because of bushes or a ravine with vertical hills around you and you can’t take a drop out. You just stuck in there hitting 20 strokes until you quit. There are still courses that add up the scores wrong. We keep a dry erase board in my sim area so we can write down the real scores because the scorecard on FSXPlay will give you the wrong score I’m sure you can imagine the arguments that went on when there was money on the line. I wish they would just fix all the current courses they have. I still can believe there isn’t a “report glitch” area in the support department. We rant on hear but it all fats on deaf ears

33 non-updated courses here including Quail Hollow and Glen Abbey ..... I don't even want to do that math. I have resolved to not purchase any new courses until this is sorted. They need to get on this ....

I think i have 15 I’m waiting on. Probably all the same ones you need. 33x $150 = $4950. Yikes!

I am also not buying any new courses for Play, until they get the 2020 library converted over.

Because I'm a sucker I went ahead and bought Cabot Links for FSXPlay the other day. It has some really cool features like pointing the mini-map in the wrong direction and listing the yardage for most holes as between 2-3 yards giving you a great opportunity to completely guess at how far your shot is. Once again, with most Foresight software, it was money well wasted.

The minimap pointing in the wrong direction seems to be big problem with a lot of course. It’s weird that the courses they advertise and put into packages and promote are some of the worst ones. At this point Pebble seems to be the only course that functions great.

I was really wanting the Pebble , Spyglass combo and CC is an excellent course but with the issues of late, I'm glad I didn't purchase and will wait.

I really enjoy Cabot Cliffs, but like I mentioned above I just bought Cabot Links and it works terribly for me. Between the program crashing, the yardages not being available on holes and the mini-map pointing the wrong way, it's unplayable for me.

Pebble does seem to by one course that mostly works with minimal glitches. Cabot Cliffs works well also.

Haven’t played Cabot Cliff in a couple months but put it in today and they definitely did some updates. You can see the color of the grass is more realistic to what’s fine fescue links turf looks like. It’s finally a darker green. Hopefully they make the same changes to other links courses

I haven’t played CLinks since new update. Must be when issues started because it was fine before. I’ve just been on Harbor Town bender because A) it looks fantastic B) extremely challenging tee to green but putting is reasonable. Just a great challenge.
