GCQuad with zero dots

Just saw a short video of Phil warming up on the range with a driver and a GCQuad, there were no dots on the club. Does the Quad give any info from this ????

Yes, it will give you ball data only - ie distance, ball speed, spin rate etc.. the dots are only needed if you want club data - which is measured independent of ball data.

From what I’ve heard, a lot of the Quads are just placed there by FS, not owned by players.

When I was at Augusta many players carried their quad on the course for a variety of shots during practice rounds..
