Got 9 holes in tonight at Pebble. So far, so good. Last version was unplayable for me.

Did they take it down? I looked earlier and it was there, now it's back to 1.7.0.10

I loaded it last night to see if was helping my flickering/shuttering problems on some courses and it seemed to. However, the program was crashing quite often. Maybe that’s the problem. Some of you have said that the tech department reads this forum. It would be very helpful for some info if there are problems. I have some people coming tonight for some club repair and they were going to be on the simulator. I hope it works.

Update. My group came over and played Pebble Beach. The program crashed once going from practice to course but pleasantly surprised no problem when playing. The graphics looked much better. They got the tee honors right for the most part and the tree problems seemed fixed. I didn't like the changes in the mini map. No sound. The green shortcut( where they show the balls) was not good in this version and some of the views behind the ball around the green weren't good. The mini map on SentryWorld was not fixed. It seems when they do get somethings right, things which worked before quite working.

Foresight must be regretting the decision to go big into software... Lot of unhappy customers who would love them if they had only done hardware. Clearly they are trying but it's just not working.

ForesightMattyG - any chance someone can weigh in on the status of FSX Play 1.8.X.X? It would seem that the latest update was removed from the server for some reason and is no longer avail for download????

Might not seem a huge leap that it was not supposed to be released yet. So I'm just gunna wait until it is. I would not expect it to perform properly if it was not officially ready.

It's a pity. Version 1.7. had a lot of bug and was a step back. Functions like mixed measurements works in Version 1.6. and in versions before. Since 1.7. it doesn't work.

GCQuad is a great unit. But FSX Play is still in beta status and it seams there is a general problem in architecture and the development seams to be without unittests.

If I knew before the story of fsx play maybe I would buy another device.

ForesightSports What is about the integration of another sim software which was announced early this year?

GSPro is being sued by Trackman, which may be delaying the partnership.

I hate to post this but i am still having crashing problems on the newer new update. Going to the Foresight range, clicked weather, advance and it crashed. Did it several times. Also a few times after I just clicked the weather. Did the same on a few courses. I did call and left a message on tech support. Frustrating.
