Fsx pro data tile: CHS vs CHS point of touch

I just came across the chs point of touch data tile vs the reg chs. Anyone know the actual difference since I thought quad always measured at point of touch anyway.. thanks

this was added recently. I believe the CHS at impact point is faster as it captures the club speed before the impact with the ball causes it to slow down. not sure why they added it.

Very odd that they would add this. You're right fortysixandtwo, quad has always measured at point of touch, whereas Trackman measures at point of maximum compression (which is why their CHS is slightly less than Foresight). I clipped their Peak video explaining it and threw it on YouTube for you:

Perhaps by adding the "point of touch" tile, they redefined default CHS to match Trackman? Is the default CHS tile lower than the new point of touch one? And which one matches what is on the Quad itself?
