Hey guys,
So I found out about the upnext program and I'm going to reach out regarding acquiring a unit.
I currently compete for my national team, have a WAGR rank, and on titleist player support.
I have a very solid grasp of swing mechanics ( MORAD, S&T, TGM), my only query is whether or not the GC3 with the club add-on package vs the gcquad with the club add-on would be worth the money. I'm not sure how much of a discount you get with the upnext program but it says up to 50%.
My main goals for the unit are to see very accurate carry numbers and perform a lot of pressurized target practice, club speed, ball speed, path, angle of attack, and face would be nice but I'm assuming I can figure the face out from the spin axis and path.
What do you guys think? with the 50% discount should I go for a quad or GC3.
I also don't care about software as I'm not looking to play sim golf, just pure performance mode. Ideally, the Trackman Performance Center software is my goal but it doesn't make sense to go for a Trackman with the yearly fee and the price the more cumbersome setup process, and the lack of on-course use.
I'd mainly be using my iPad Pro and iPhone so I guess that would limit me to the FSX Pro software.
So for my goals:
Dialing in carry distances
Hitting targets under pressure
Setting parameters for driver practice
Doing skill challenges
On course use
Which would you recommend I go for considering the discount from the program?
Thanks !
