Interesting but not "OMG - I need that". I did not notice anything about pricing - either the new version or whether the old version will continue to be sold? Any words on trade-ins or upgrade programs?

Agree! I bought the GCquad a month ago (the Christmas package). The new features are good to have but not necessary, I would still go with the package I bought since it saved me $6,000

Does it still need stickers? Was hoping a next gen quad would ditch the stickers

I was hoping the same but I doubt about it. If it's the new feature, it would pop up first on the website. Also, selling the dots may be a good revenue to Foresight.

Man I would love to have the swing speed training on my GC3/BLP. Don't understand why this can't be done by just a FW or Software update and provided to all devices.

I don't get it? I guess it may be better for someone using it outside more often than inside? I would have at least expected the ball impact video you get from other units (the only feature I believe would improve the GC Quad).

I said the same thing. They did a refresh and most of what I see here is probably software/firmware. Showing impact on video like the uneekor seems like something actually called an upgrade. Realistically this should be cheaper then the last one as tech has gotten less expensive and far advanced from when this came out years ago. Here's hoping for a 3K cheaper price.

Looks like a pretty modest update on the GC Quad. Nothing I would consider upgrading for.

I suppose the swing speed training aspect is good, I use the cheap separate unit which works just fine as for the other three "new" measurements are just math and what's really weird is that they are available in the analysis features for FSX 2020 and FESX Pro?

            Ball Apex
            Ball Descent Angle
            Ball Offline

How could they differ from what's already in the software? Or is that they are now shown on the unit, which I don't think displays these parameters right? Which means I guess the pros wanted this info on the range on their untis?

So according to my buddy who has a quad they are offering a trade in upgrade for $8500.....for firmware upgrades, a touch screen, and new skins. All this while still running a beta sim program that can't secure licensing to courses....am I missing something here?

probably the same thing im missing. no way these trivial upgrades are worth 8500 to me. Imagine some people paying 20k fully loaded, just to pay 8500 more to upgrade.

Ridiculous. A blatant money grab if there ever was one. Every other manufacturer is building better for less, this does not bode well for Foresight IMO. Don't get me wrong, I love my quad, and there was a price where I may have jumped but it was measured in $100s not almost $10K.

I'm with you all the way. However, the upside IMO is this: if the QuadMax sells for $20,000 (and I assume it will not include the putting module) with software, it is going to fail at that price and Foresight will have to lower it. It simply will not be worth a 5-8K upgrade from the GCQuad. And used GCQuads can be had from anywhere from 10-12K, depending on age and what comes with it.

I too love the Quad. But Foresight is really dropping the ball here. The QuadMax should be rolling in at 15K with software. They should sunset the GCQuad. But now they will have one cannibalizing the other. The only benefit to the QuadMax is really if one uses it outdoors a lot. Indoors, none of the upgrades do anything for me, and a 200 swing radar monitor solves the swing speed training issue.

And don't get me started on the Falcon. What a disappointment, from the stupid dead zone to no impact camera. Sheesh Foresight, just pull the head out of the butt and see what every other overhead monitor competitor is doing.
