  • GC3 Club data missed

Just looking for some tips, help or advice. My GC3 most of the time doesn't pick up my club data with the one dot, seems to be worse with a 7 iron and better with a driver for some reason.
See attached pictures with my setup. My hitting matt is the thicker tee turf type.
Tried fresh dots and different places in the hitting zone but neither seem to make much of a difference.

Common error when this is happening the mat moving during the swing. The movement is small and almost imperceptible, but the GC3 sees it. Try using some double sided carpet tape under the mat and see if that helps.

This. I started out with just a combo stance/hitting mat and was having issues with club data as well. I tried carpet tape to no avail. Once I installed a Fiberbuilt hitting strip the misses went to basically zero.

Exactly what I did. Started with the combo then added a separate strip. I almost never have misreads.

Another possible solution is to firmly attach the surface the GC3 sits on to the stance/hitting surface. That way the GC3 will move the same as the stance mat. In my case I have the setup in the garage and the stance/hitting and GC3 base surface are firmly attached to the floor with 1/4-20 bolts and flush inserts.. I can't remember the GC3 ever missing a shot where the ball was placed properly in the GC3 hitting zone. If any of he surfaces need to be moved simply removing the bolts is simple

I would make sure that the platform you have the GC3 sitting on isn't moving when you hit the ball, id maybe scoot it half an inch or so away from the hitting mat to make sure its not moving it.
