It has significantly improved capture of 4-dot data. I honestly don’t think I have had a shot missed since the upgrade. Before, the Quad would struggle with 4-dot data on my higher lofted wedges.

it is a nice upgrade by Foresight. They really do their hardware well.

I also noticed a huge upgrade for wedges. Before the update, I tested out my 60 degree wedge quite a bit. While I could get data with a standard or a knockdown shot, if I opened the club face for anything resembling a flop or higher shot I would not get club data. Now it seems to get them 100% of the time. Very nice improvement and helpful to have this data for this part of my game.

I‘m getting a lot of no reads for club data with one dot since the update. Almost all my one dotted clubs stopped showing club data. I use after market club markers on them. Strangely it works fine with original Foresight club markers. 4 dot data works fine with after market ones. Does anybody experience something similar?

Curious whether anyone has noticed the recent issue regarding missing putts. It happens regularly on my Quad, starting fairly recently. Never used to happen. Have not yet upgraded the firmware and hoping this will be a fix.

Anyone else having trouble making this work? I'm following the instructions: download and launch the update, connect with cable and power on GCQ. The software is not recognizing the GCQ as being connected, and nothing is happening. Just says Please Connect a Device. Thanks in advance for any tips.

I've been playing on it without any issue. Seems like the software is finally usable.

I installed it, and first impression is that it does seem more forgiving in providing 4-dot data. I was getting full data from a club with old stickers that I do not think would previously have been read.

I am however still having the same issue regarding missing reading putts. It happens regularly, like 1/3 of the time the Quad just does not pick up a putt. I tend to think this is an issue with Play rather than the Quad, because I noticed it starting to happen after one of the recent Play updates. In what may be a related issue, Play also does not control the Quad for switching between regular (green light) and putting (purple light) mode. If I manually turn on putting mode on the Quad, it just stays in putting mode for all shots (which means smaller hitting area). One would think it should give the green light for all shots from off the green, and switch to putting mode automatically on the green. It has never done that to my recollection.
