GCQuad Latest Firmware - any issues?

    Hey everyone,

I’m curious to know if anyone has updated their GC Quad to the latest firmware (GCQuad Firmware v4.0.3.3). I’m thinking of doing it myself, but I’m a bit worried about it. I don’t want to accidentally brick my unit since I use it every day. What are your thoughts on it?

Works great. Highly recommend as club data capture is so much better.

Agree. Delivers 4-dot club data more consistently, and is way more tolerant of less-than-perfect dots. I have had no issues with the update.

          No issues, works great.
Also the TrajectoryX (https://trajectoryx.com) iOS app works perfectly with the new firmware: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/trajec...latform=iphone

So as an update, I have resolved the issue. After updating the firmware I tried using GSPro (my usual go-to). I had the issue described above. No matter what I tried I could not get the GCQ to see the golf ball or even connect properly to GSPro. Later on, I tried with FSX Play and all of a sudden the ball was being recognized. It works now on GSPro as well. For some reason, it seems that the firmware needed to get something from FSX Play to 'unglitch' and I was off to the races.

              Weird but resolved.

I have the same problem! GC Quad was working fine until I updated.

CONFIRMED!!! I connected FSX Play with my GC Quad and once the driving range loaded (I assume a course would as well), the ball would be recognized by the GCQ, This is not a good practice on Foresights part as I am sure there are customers that don't use the software and would take the device straight to the course to use.
