This goes without saying but be careful. Deals outside of Ebay will have no buyer protection!

The fishy one is the same old scam. The description is an image file, not text so they can get around the automated ebay censors. They always say "ask before bidding" and always specify a $3000 purchase price. There have been dozens listed like this in the past year or so. I always bid $3000 then report them.

Hi Guys, im currently in the market for a GC2 and this will be my first time purchase of something like this. i have seen a few 2nd hand units that have taken my fancy and was wondering if apart from the obvious of testing the unit before purchase there was anything else i should be looking for that could be a problem with a used unit. Its a large amount of money to part with or would you recommend just paying the extra and getting a new one ?
Thanks for any help

The pictures used in this auction looks familiar. This auction looks suspicious to me for some reason. Might be legit, but be careful.

These guys sicken me. I was very close to pulling the trigger offline with one of these and I happened to come across a guy who posted a unit for sale so that he could inform ebayers about the fraudulent post I was looking at. I decided to just go new from Cory at Par2Pro. If it's too good to be true, it probably is. Thanks for posting warnings out here Zmax.Originally posted by Zmax View Post

I reported the listing on Saturday morning after having read this string earlier this month. Don't want anyone who hasn't visited the forum to get hosed by this guy.
I am close to pulling trigger on gc2...taking with Foresight direct. Any disadvantage to this approach? Should I be trying to buy retail?
