Hi guys,
I've been playing with the idea of getting a launch monitor for a little while now. The goal is mostly to improve my training experience, get more feedback on what I'm doing, getting the opportunity to play some challenges, detect patterns, calibrate clubs, balls, work on my contact, shot shaping, etc.
Although I would certainly love to have a simulator, it won't be possible as the ceiling here is too low in my apartment : 2.50m/8.2ft
So it's mostly going to be an outdoor use at the range. At least for the next couple of years.
I ran into an opportunity to get a used GC2 here in France, and as the price is fairly OK, I would like your opinion on whether this is a good choice.
I was considering a SkyTrak and was waiting for the ES16 initial feedback before triggering a purchase. This GC2 opportunity is tempting.
Does this come with some software with it by default ? How does it hook up to external devices ? Bluetooth ? etc. If I want to have a rich practice experience, do I need anything else ?
I'm basically afraid that this may be overkill, but for slightly more than a SkyTrak, it's impossible not to consider this possibility.
What do you guys think ?
