  • Foresight software target line problem

Hi, I need a little help. I would like the target line on my foresight software to be dead centre on my screen but I do not know how to change it. I have attached a photo of my set up where the target line is right of centre (over the AIM RIGHT icon) but would like it central like the other photo. Currently I have to have my projector central and with the target line to the right some golfers with high follow throughs have hit the projector.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Many Thanks

    Frazer

I don't understand your question. The line is in the center of the screen. The space between aim right and aim left is not.

46 & 2 is right, that should allow you to offset your "aiming" point to the right of center, as it shows your setup is.

Sorry to step into this thread - do you know if this adjustment is possible in ST?

This is for foresight and not skytrak. Email skygolf or ask seth.

Thanks for the replies, that did the trick, my target line is now near enough in the centre so my projector is safe and it is easier for left handers as well. Thank you.

Okay I'm having the same problem with my alignment about 2 feet right of center. I plugged in some numbers in the software and I noticed no difference. Am I missing something here. When you enter numbers does it change the alignment instantly or do you have to restart program or computer. I tried entering different numbers and seen no difference at all. What am I missing here

Edit settings as administrator and then restart program. You should then see line moved left or right.

rebooting the software and or the computer usually makes a difference.

I also have issues getting the target line to move. It remains in the middle, and it needs to move about 3' more right. Our hitting bays have the Fiberbuilt mat systems with a centered stance pad and hitting areas on the right and left. I've inputted the Dx Dy Dz measurement parameters in Simulator Setup, and the aiming marker stays middle no matter what. I've restarted the computer, the software, and nothing. Any ideas?

Run Simulator Setup as administrator, After changing Dx Dy Dz, save your settings. If you are in FSX, then exit FSX and start it again, otherwise just start FSX and line should move.

Yep, I've done all that. Did it with Foresight running, shut it down, restarted. Nothing. Did it without Foresight running, restarted computer. Nothing. We aren't running FSX. See if anyone can figure it out if I give you the space dimensions.

                Screen width - 9.58'
                Screen height - 7.92'
                Dx - 1.5'
                Dy - .75'
                Dz - 13.5'

Make sure you run the setup software as administrator if you don't it won't save the settings and don't have any other Foresight running
                  - also I have never had to reboot to make the changes work

Yep, ran as admin. No change.

Maybe change the screen height and width change to 9.5 and 8.0?

Ok, let's just say for argument sake, my measurement numbers are correct and it still displays to the left (center). What number can I adjust to get the line to move one way or the other? Obviously specifically more to the right in my instance. The line should be closer to aligning with the right edge of the Club menu tab, or a bit in between Club & Driving Range menu tabs. Bay is 12' in width, and the mat cannot be moved the left to accommodate for the offset to get the hitting area in the middle. See attached image of current display at settings:

                        Screen width - 9.5'
                        Screen height - 8.0'
                        Dx - 1.5'
                        Dy - .75'
                        Dz - 13.5'

I'm thinking the 1.5, bump it to 2.5 or more to move the line, just guessing from a quick look..
