  • GC2 how do you show the flight from ball impact on screen?

Currently when I hit a shot on the range, the tracer starts from level ground, but I've seen other users have the tracer draw where it impacts the screen.
Also anyone know what special clubfitting mode is within the clubfitting options? Thanks!

I assume you are using Forsight's Fr1 or FSX software. It should work this way if you are connected via USB. Will not work via bluetooth.

If you are connected via USB and this is not working then the only other thing I can think of is it take make sure you have used the "Simulator Setup Tool" application that foresight provides to input your distance to screen, distance to GC2 measurements. This allows you to offset the software and also gives the softwre the informtion it needs to render the ball trace from where the ball impacted the screen.

I don't know what the special fitting mode is - always wondered this myself.

Simulator set up tool was my suggestion too. Makes a huge difference, and only takes a few minutes. One tip is to makes sure you right click and "run as admin" when launching the tool from the menu.

Thanks, I'll have to try it with the usb cable plugged in. I've been using bluetooth the whole time. I have fr1 software. For some reason when I click special fitting mode it asks for another password, I didn't try putting anything in there to see..

        FSX does this via Bluetooth.

It's the simulator setup tool. Once you have it setup correctly the tracer will start from where you impact the screen. It will do this plugged and with BT connection.
Also always wondered what the special fittning mode is?

Could he be referring to the screen set up utility? The only issue for me is my mat is 10x5 and I move the LM around so it does’t always work perfectly. When the LM is in the right spot the ball pretty much continues right where it hits. It’s pretty cool.

You can always open the screen setup program and reset the distances.

There is also a setting you can use to finetune the offset line sideways. "Field of view scalar" ( i think, at work now so can't check) If you start the club fitting mode and adjust the slider in the "scalar" you can see that the line moves left or right.
