I've been complaining about my irons not sticking on greens well in TGC, and I think it may be my GC2 not reading backspin correctly. How is it even possible to hit that low spin with a 7 iron? The mat can't be the issue because these are numbers with the ball tee'd up and me hammering down on it. I've tried every kind of ball you can think of, most around 4500ish, some are lower, and I might get the odd shot closer to 5000 if the stars align.
My GC2 is an old model 1100 serial number, using the latest firmware. It seems to read everything else fine, all my distances and launch angles are spot on but something isn't adding up here for backspin.
Could my flash be going? It doesn't miss a shot ever, even the slowest of chips and putts are read perfectly. I did the re-calibration tool but to no avail.
