  • What GPU?

I currently have a 3080, but have gotten FPS warnings running GSPro in "ultra". I am upgrading to 4k and am worried that it will get worse. Do I need to upgrade the GPU? Thinking about a rx 9070 xt nitro+, but will this fix the problem?

The 3080 is a fine GPU. As I understand it, the 9070 XT is only about 25 to 30 percent faster, One possible issue with the 3080 is that some models only had 10 GB of video ram, so that may be a limitation. Some models had 12 GB, which seems like enough, although the FPS warning you're getting is problematic. The 9070 XT has 16 GB of ram, so way better. Your CPU could also be a limitation. What resolution are you using now? If you have 16 GB of system memory, going with 32 GB may help.

Doing a bit of research the 9070 won't don't I'm my chassis. I have the 3080 with 10gb. I have already added two 16 gb sticks as well. The PC itself is an Alienware R12.

The 3080 should be absolutely fine for any 1080p course on Ultra.

What are the rest of the PC specs?

Well, it appears to me you need an updated machine to run 4K ultra on GSPRO with your VX. Alienware makes fine machines, although yours is a couple to three generations old. That is two GPU and three or more CPU generations. I might suggest a new computer with a RX 7800/9800 X3D and a RTX 4080 with 32 G of system ram. A RX 9700 XT or RTX 4700 TI may also be enough. To ran GSPRO and VX at 4K ultra requires a powerfull machine, so the fact that your current system has FPS warnings does not bode well for an upgrade to 4K ultra. But hey, good luck whatever you decide.
