Would R Motion Run on a Mac

I am most likely going to get the R-motion system but I am having trouble figuring it if it will run on a mac instead of a PC. I would have to go out and purchase a pc specifically for the R motion. I already have 2 IMac computers as my wife works for apple so it wouldn't be a problem getting apple products. Also I will be running the Optoma Gt1080 in my setup and wanted to know if anyone has any experience with this projector as well? I have a 10'x11' screen from west coast netting which I will be using real golf balls for as well. Let me know what you guys think!

R-Motion (and TGC) will not run on a Mac. You will need a Windows PC. If your Mac has a good graphics card you can try bootcamp. It will not perform on VMWare or Parallels.

We use Bootcamp successfully in the office with TGC and R-Motion application. You should be able to get a low cost OEM Windows license and make the whole thing work on Windows under few tens of dollars.
