Live Round with Anyone?

Does anyone like to play LIVE rounds? Takes a bit of time but could be a fun 9 holes in an hour.

I've met some great people on Steam doing that with TGC, but not many if any are SIM players.

Thought I'd ask.

Not sure if it still going but there was/is a meeting place on discord. I have a difficult time getting the time to play the tour rounds let alone extra rounds. However, I have tried this a year or two and once Protee helped me with my setup (ISP was throttle BW) it worked pretty well.

Understand completely! I'll probably be in the same boat once I start playing the events too. Maybe we could play those together. As far as I can tell that's completely within the rules. Not quite as fun without being able to talk with one another through discord or other.

Was just feeling it out seeing if there was an underground community of sim players that get together! lol.

Going to be watching the masters and playing the 3 rounds this weekend.

So so how does it work and is it fairly easy to set up? . We both play and wait for each others shot to go?
I actually like that because I find when playing alone I tend to rush a bit.

So I haven't done it with the SIM but I know in TGC it's pretty simple. Same game...just different interface. Not sure how "friends" work in Sim since it's not STEAM friends or console etc.

I'd be willing to try. Not sure when I will be around this weekend, but it's going to be cold, so no real golf. Of course will be watching the TV alot too lol.

For discussing things Discord is nice...I think It can run on phone and we could use headphones to talk. Not nearly as bulky as headset I use on Computer typcally. Closer to come back and post your thoughts/times and let's see if we can hook up. Would be fun, rather it happens this weekend or later.

Yea found that yesterday...need to be given access to some of those "special" channels. I've asked the admin for access to the arrange online play channel. Thanks for the heads up.
