  • NEW COURSE COMING - TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas

Was looking on sim tour and saw that the ATT Byron Nelson isn't being played on Las Colinas. Then found that the actual tournament IRL had been moved as well to play Trinity something! wow...that's a shame...Hoping Trinity will bring some great drama as TPC Four Seasons is a great course!

In my search for photos (I've played the course many times and even shot PGA photos inside the ropes) I found that someone had produced it in TGC. I was impressed with parts of the course but I feel it could use some improvement and would not at all be playable on the SIM.

So for my next project I'm going to give TPC Las Colinas a go. It's a great challenging course that looks like will not be on tour this year in real life! oh well....

Have all the holes all traced and ready for further development, 18 mainly sculpted, 17 is real close. Progress! Number 3 is a beast, 500+ yard par 4 for the tour pro's (more work here, but coming together). I'll be producing the full 7200 yard tour version as well as shorter SIM versions too.

All major sculpting is complete. Looking very good. Played the "members" created version to help remind me of the greens there (I've played but it's been a while). I'm sure the tiers and slopes are generally correct, so I took some screen shots and will contour the greens next. Then comes planting and play testing!

Looking forward to it! One of my friends from the high school golf team lived on TPC Las Colinas, so we used to sneak out in the evenings and play. I was going to request Trinity Forest when you originally asked for course ideas, but Google earth still doesn't show it. It is supposed to be a links style course which will be different from the other PGA tour stops. Jordan Spieth practices out there and has said he can shoot 62 or 78 depending on the wind, so it should make for an interesting venue.

I saw some images of it on a golf blog and wow, it doesn't look like anything in the states I've ever seen. Should be very interesting. Time will tell if the tour stays there in the long run. I think the players didn't like TPC Four Seasons because it was too hard Didn't fit their schedule and it's in Texas with the heat. Who knows... I think it's a great course and very challenging but rewarding in the same right. Some great break out players have won there!

Right before the planting begins! I'm sure I'll tweak some things, but it's very solid thus far. Just dressing it up from here...

So close to releasing this. Just want the greens to be as accurate as possible. Anyone have any information they've ran across? Have access to Strakaline? Thanks!

Ok, it's just about ready for the tour next week! Par 70 6,800 yards, narrow fairways, some risk reward holes and a finish that is as exciting as few others!

Published on Sim as TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas (6,800) I believe it will be the tour stop next week. It's where the Byron Nelson use to be played for many many years. This years course is totally different from anything else on tour...time will tell how it goes. This is a challenging course, tight fairways, water comes into play many places and tier greens in places.

Hope everyone enjoys! I'll be publishing other versions soon.... Different pins and yardages, including a Sunday pin PGA version.
