  • Path and Face Angle Accuracy

I have a Skytrak so I am considering adding R-motion to get some club data. I’m mainly concerned with path and face angle but AoA would be interesting as well.

I have searched around a lot and not found much commentary on the accuracy of the measured data for R-motion against something like a Trackman. The accuracy comparisons have been on resulting ball flight which won’t be used in my situation. Has anyone seen or done accuracy testing on the measured data not just the flight model?

I own a Swingbyte 2 and the path data it gives is clearly off (generally it shows I swing inside out 15 degrees or more) so I am nervous about these club mounted sensors. I fully appreciate at this price point it’s not going to be accurate to a tenth of a degree but I don’t want to buy another device that I use a handful of times and decide the data is so bad I get nothing from it then permanently put it on the shelf.

    Thanks
