I'm running a Protee 2.0 system and when playing online with TGC, occasionally I'll experience severe lag, ie waiting a long time for courses to load, or a 10 second or longer lag after the ball is hit until the shot registers. I'm guessing this is a problem with my internet, but want to eliminate any other possible causes. This was experienced yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. I'm using a desktop PC, i7 quad core, 8 GB memory, GeForce GTX 1060 w/ 6 GB memory, wifi internet connection via DSL (speed yesterday was 7MB/sec).

Another thing I tried was to catch another program running secretly in the background like an update or some other, nothing found yet. I even installed a wifi booster to ensure signal was not too weak to the sim location.

ya i use a wifi extender as well, but also use USB. Sometimes when I start TGC, It won't load any courses and I have to restart TGC, which then that issue is resolved. Other times the Interface crashes or a shot delays for several minutes and I am unable to hit another shot. Will have to restart the interface and TGC to resolve it. Rarely do I have any other issue.

If you have to restart TGC, can you continue the round you were playing with the same group of players? So far what I have seen is you can continue a previously started round, but only with the default player, seems to forget you were playing with a group.

I had this issue, and TGC support worked with me. It turned out my internet provider would deny packet or throttle to their servers.

System worked flawlessly last night. I suspect it is the internet. I'm held hostage by the only communications company in my very rural area. Last year we had a bonded DSL line installed, ie second parallel line. I walked the lines down the dirt road and across the creek, found the old line broken by a big oak limb, the new line still intact, but ripped from the pole and laying on the ground. I'm amazed it actually still works!
