  • From consistent to unplayable.... Assistance?

    I've been having issue after issue with my Skytrak/TGC setup lately... It was working flawless since purchase with maybe 1-2 disconnects randomly in a round of 18. Now it's doing it every 1-3 shots to the point it's not even worth playing... I can't seem to figure out what's changed on my end - I've been using the Skytrak Interface that came with the TGC purchase since day 1 but every time it disconnects it's not even notifying me; instead I hit a shot, nothing happens, I then go to check the interface and it's force-closed without even making me aware.. Am I missing something that's changed recently that would cause this to lose connection so frequently? I reset my laptop, and my router/modem and that doesn't seem to fix it.

    I would love anyone's help or suggestions - SO FRUSTRATING to try and play and have to exit out, re-open the interface software, make 4 or 5 attempts for it to recognize my Skytrak only to have it do it all over again 1 or 2 shots later..

    USB or Network connection? I use USB and only very rarely have a disconnect problem - weeks since last one.

    When the problem is happening, go to https://fast.com on the same wifi that your laptop is using and see what your connection speed is. Flaky internet can cause all sorts of problems with both SkyTrak and TGC.

    If all else fails do the paperclip reset on the ST so it forgets all wifi networks, and then set it up again. Make sure you're using 2.4Ghz wifi, not 5Ghz. I recommend USB mode with a PC, but others say they have better luck with Network mode.
