Layup Distances?

I'm not sure if I missed this somewhere but is there a way to see how far it is to a certain spot on the course? I was playing a par 5 and on my second shot it was showing me the distance to the green. I was trying to figure out how to get the distance to a certain spot on the fairway so I can lay up and leave me 100 yards in but couldn't figure it out.

Yes, but I hope they add the layup remaining distance number to the minimap cursor position, so you don't have to constantly do the mental math of total distance - layup distance. On doglegs that's practically impossible, anyway. JNPG does a better job of this. Seems like it'd be a trivial feature to add.

That is how the cursor works.

Your ball position is a Red spot on the mini map. Wherever you move the cursor, INSIDE the mini map will show you layup distances to any location you want.

I'm a pretty short hitter so I use it all the time for layup distances.

I just tried using the mini map and moving the cursor and it works perfectly. Really helped know may layup distances. Thanks guys!
