I'm sure this is covered, but i couldn't find what i was looking for... there is a TGC Patch 3.0.2 - how is this installed in the game? i believe it was to help fix putting issues with skytrak? and possible other things too?

Hey frankie, I'm not sure your tgc settings (text) file will show the correct version. Try this. Run the patch, fire the interface, then kill. Then go back into the settings file and see if you have the different settings. Not sure what this patch did specifically at this point. Look for "Straight Putting" or 3 green settings. Stimp/Speed/Firmness. If you have any or all of those settings then you should be good. Depending on what you're looking for. Sorry, there's 2 different patches...
What you want. Straight Putting = On. You also want Stimp/Speed/Firmness as 3 different settings (maybe a different patch?). If you have all those then you want to play with the 3 green settings. My settings are 6/3/1 respectively. You can play with these to fine tune green performance. Hope this helps.
For the record the 100 degree heat most likely zapped the rest of my few remaining brain cells today so good chance I've muffed some or all of this. 😁Comment

i definitely didn't see those numbers, so i assume it wasn't done correctly... i was just after a patch to help with the putting. trying to eliminate the straight hit putt that registers a few degrees out like so many have stated.Comment

yeah thats pretty much the main thing... being an acceptable level of putting. I'm useless with pc's so ill work my way through it eventuallyComment

The patches are installers. Just download and run and it will update TGC.
The config file will show the patch version installed.
