  • TGC Pricing and price drop

So I just got my Skytrak a few weeks ago and WGT was a little disappointing and I bought TGC about two weeks ago at 895 USD. Now I see on the skytrak website where I purchased that it's now 795. Any chance I can get them to refund me the 100 bucks? I haven't even played a full round on the game yet!

I had the same thing happen to me. I asked Skygolf and they said all purchases are final for simulator software and no refunds are made even if promotions change. Bummer.

the golden rule I use to run my business is how would I wish to be treated. I never like to refund money back but there are other ways to make a win win. In this case I would have offered you 150 off another product or service. In other countries returning stuff like we do here is not allowed - so guess sorta lucky.

Try checking with your credit card company. They usually have a price protection perk.

That sucks. So I'm clear, what country are you in and what normally happens with sale items?

Take black Friday or the start of year sales, I can hardly ask for a refund of the jeans I bought 2 months prior

Is there a time frame you work to? Ie a sale within a week of purchase?

            Sucks though, I agree.

I'm in the US. I guess I'm so used to shopping at Costco and Amazon when things like this happen there's usually no questions asked about getting the difference refunded. At Costco I bring in the receipts and they just refund the difference - usually within 30 days of purchase. Amazon I think has dropped that to 14 days I think but their prices on everything fluctuate so much it's too hard to keep up. I think I probably would get the difference if I called my credit card company, but it's iffy on things like software purchases that you can't physically return.

I have a stupid question. As a GC2 owner, can I purchase TGC lifetime subscription through Skytrak ?

You purchase skytrak through skytrak. Purchasing for a gc2 would be elsewhere

I can't see why not. In the sticky in this forum on "Why TGC" it says it is transferable to other devices.

                Why TGC?
