    Finally took the plunge

After nearly 3 years of lurking on this forum and owning a Skytrak and using just the range and WGT - I've finally purchased TGC - it was time to step up my options in my garage...haha
Can't wait to see some of you out on the tour and finally put my jealousy behind me and start playing a real sim.

Now I'm just really mad at myself... why did I wait so long!!!!!
I literally was only able to play a few holes so far this week but playing the amen corner 3 hole course with my dad who is just visiting this week, brought us back to when we played it for real over 25 years ago ( friend of a friend of a friend once in a lifetime hookup haha). Amazing work ProTee United , SkyTrak_Seth , @theclv24

This weekend my wife and kids are going to start to wonder why I'm hiding in the garage for so long...

Awesome! Your garage will be your new best friend. Try to get a bed in there... we all have... Join the tour when you're ready!

Nice tip ProTee, hadn't thought of that. You might have just ended my marriage however Last night I practiced in the park while my daughter had training, got home to find out my ghost swings which felt great in the park were causing snap hooks, so fixed that. In the end I had a driver out, trying to crush it through 2 nets until I was soaked in sweat... in the middle of winter here at night. Had a couple of hours watching TV with the wife, then finished up with a small 1 hour chipping session before calling it quits. If I'd thought of the bed idea, I probably could have snuck a quick hour in before work too!

Smacc, I know how you feel. I got it around the open championship, and playing the same course as the pros was fun, but really there is nothing that much to look at there. But loaded up Augusta, and I feel like half the purchase price was justified in the next hour. Also had a hot swing going that day, so hit it to 12ft on 12, 2nd shot to the fringe on 13, wedged it in close on 15, just everything I'd always wanted to do since watching my first masters... 30+ years ago.

Very cool and congrats! While you pick out out your new mattress, a trip to the spa for your wife will go a long way
