Question about course design using TGC2

I'm planning on beginning to design courses for TGC simulator play. In the past I've designed for PC games such as PGA2000, TW08, and JN Golden Bear Challenge 6 but this will be my first venture in TGC.

Just wondering if at this point I should buy and start designing on TGC2 - PC version (even though my only intention is to use my designs in for the sim version). I understand it may be a couple months before I could use these designs as TGC2 sim isn't ready yet, but it would be nice to start these designs with the improved features allowed in the TGC2 designer.

I recommend to design in the simulator edition of TGC (assuming you have a simulator), so its playable right now. Courses can be migrated to TGC2 and improved using TGC2 design tools later.
