This started last night, and now happened again starting 2 hours ago, where the wifi on my screen is blinking and it's taking 5 minutes for a shot to register (and other things like the little raindrops on the green when putting are "stuck") -- I assumed it was my Wifi but I rans a speedtest from my gaming PC in my simulator and I'm getting 15 Meg up and 15 Meg down, so connectivity on my end doesn't seem to be the issue -- anyone else having a problem playing right now?

Is there an issue with the TGC server?

I just tried to play and had the same problem. My SkyTrak would connect to TGC, I would play a stroke or two and it would then disconnect. It disconnect about five times in a few minutes before I gave up.
ProTee United, this seems to be a new-ish problem that is getting worse. I have been playing TGC for years without it disconnecting like this, but for the past few months it has been more an more problematic. I remember in another thread it mentioned using some free VPN service helps, but don't believe that signing up for service that "protects" your data for free is a good option.
Can you please help us understand what is going on? If it keeps going this way playing TGC is not going to be an enjoyable experience anymore.

For me I never had a single issue (only had it for a month), but then last night it happened and then today I was playing and it was totally fine then on the 4 the hole it all came to a screeching halt. The little wifi 3 quarter circles just keeps flashing in the bottom right even though my speed test comes in at 15 MB

I just had a few minutes of luck by playing offline mode, but it just kicked me off again and now the TGC app won't even let me connect to the SkyTrak. It makes me wonder what communication with the TGC servers is happening when even in offline mode.

By chance can you tell us if there was a problem with the TGC servers that day? It would be helpful in figuring out if it's the SkyTrak unit is being problematic or something else.

No there were no problems with the servers. If we have problems then nothing will be working. Networking issues are local or internet related. Not server related.

It's not Skytrak because I have a GC2 and experienced the same problem last evening on 2/13/2019. Maybe around 9:00 PM CST.
I was playing TGC and my shots started taking a few minutes before it would show the shot in TGC. I tested my internet speed and was about 100 MB so no issue with my Internet speed. I closed TGC and after opening it back and resuming game it was fine.
I have experienced this a few other times in last month. I've also experienced where I end a round and then go to Favorites and my favorites won't load showing courses and I get the white wifi icon flashing in bottom right corner. After I close TGC and start it back up it then works and shows my favorites listing correctly.

I just started a thread in the skytrak group. It is definitely the skytrak server application. It brought my computer to a halt even after closing down TGC. It was constantly using 100% of the CPU.

I just got it again tonight. White WIFI symbol flashing the whole time I was on. I have two different internet connections, tried them both, same results with both.
Shots were taking a couple minutes to register, then they just stopped. Logged off and back on and I was put back one hole. But nothing was working.

I know this thread was from a long time ago but i have the same issue with my mevo+. Internet is working fine and I have let protee in to do a remote access and they cant seem to find a problem with my internet either. Usually I can get a few holes in and TGC will disconnect and go into offline mode. Very frustrating as you cant play any other courses than the preloaded software. It looks like they have tried to download the VPN but that hasnt fixed it either. It sounds like in Australia we have to go through the US servers. Really keen on finding a fix so I can play sawgrass etc
