Just wondering, nothing has been mentioned officially for quite some time now and let’s face it we are almost half a year past the q3 2018 mark. The threads about it seem to now be missing as well?

That is strange that the threads have gone away...
The HB Studio forums have not had any updates from HB in weeks as well, they have gone radio silent..
Its eerily similar to TGC 2.....

Just a week or so ago they advised me that they are shooting for end of the 1st quarter which would be end of March but they can't guarantee anything due to the complexity of the work involved.Comment

This whole thing has been somewhat frustrating since they started hyping it all up over a year ago...then plan to launch two months after HB release.. Then PGA show in Vegas... Now crickets. E6 Connect has a better chance of coming out first IMO ( for skytrak)Comment

now that is an interesting bet...e6 for skytrak or TGC2019 About 6 weeks ago I predicated TGC2019 in May and sticking to it. I would be amazed if cancelled...I mean the Alpha seem to go pretty well so lots of time and money invested and the SIM market I would thing will only to continue to grow.
Now e6 connect was mentioned 2 years ago so they do have a head start. I would think e6 in April for skytrak. Price - 500 a year or 2500 for purchase would be my guess.Comment

Tgc 2019 is already in Alpha testing and as far as I am aware the are programming the bug fixes found in the alpha testing and the beta will be coming sooner then later.Comment

The alpha testing thread is gone, the release q3 thread is gone as well for me. I don’t know why.
Tgc 2019 free upgrade has been used as a selling point for tgc for many months with no real communication on an actual release time frame. It was certainly made to seem like it would be sooner than later.
It’s understandable these things take time but we are already 5 months past the first talks of a release in q3 of last year. The pga show came and went, no talk still.
It would be nice to just have some sort of social media presence for updates and what they are working on and where they are in terms of a release schedule.Comment

Ok, I'm smelling hysteria. The Alpha is out and could be sold as is, it's that finished. It's finer points now. It seems steady as she goes. I predicted end of March last November I think the beta will be in next 6 weeks. They're working their ass off on this over there. E6 connect ? Laughable now.Comment

This maybe a little off topic. IMHO, the only entry level/realistic simulator available today is combo skytrak/TGC. With the other software now owned by Trackman, it is a dinosaur for skytrak owners. GC2 is basically an upgrade option for those coming from skytrak or with funds. E6 even at prices speculated above, is too pricey for a skytrak initial purchaser just exploring simulator market. Skytrak and Protee need to realize this, they have a market they need to capitalize on. I myself dabbled in sim market first with optishot before graduating to skytrak/TGC. GC2 is a ponder at this time. I think my experience is similar to others here.
I think Protee grasps this, they are waiting to get software to the "very good" or great stage before releasing. Skytrak also is making strides.Last edited by Fhacker; 03-06-2019, 04:25 AM.
