My experience with protee and TGC 2019

Well after months of waiting and only experiencing TGC2019 through alpha testers, the day has come and I received my email from skytrak yesterday offering me my free upgrade (purchased TGC in 11/18). So, as most of us, I immediately starting downloading the TGC2019, but unfortunately due to my sim location in a barn behind my home, the download process took quite some time (hours) due to poor wifi and a corrupt file was imported. This morning I contacted protee support with my issue via email. Within 10 minutes they replied with the solution. I reran setup wizard after deleting the corrupt file and I was all set for my registration and license key request. I sent out the form and in approximately 15 minutes protee responded with my license key. The customer support at protee is second to none!

Now as far as TGC2019. The wait was worth it. The graphics are unreal compared to TGC and the added features are fantastic (ability to remove turf condition and club, mini hole fade, etc... just too many to list.) I will say through the install process I lost my original TGC but I would never play it again. TGC2019 is just so much better.
Anyway, I just wanted to let protee know what a fabulous product they have developed and what a fantastic customer service department they have. In addition, I would like to thank the company for their generosity in upgrading those who purchased within the last year. For those who had TGC prior to 2018, take advantage of the discount to upgrade...its that good

I know you said you’d never play the original again but it is still there. If you load the protee console and then select start game it will take you to another screen where you can select which tgc you want to play. You will still need to connect your skytrak through the skytrak interface first though.

When I click on the interface and connect skytrak it opens tgc2019... doesn't appear to have a choice and therefore I assume TGC was uninstalled. Perhaps it's an over site on my behalf. Perhaps it's just defaulting to 2019... tonight I'll click on protee icon pruor to opening the interface and see if I toggle back and forth between tgc and tgc 2019.. I'll let u know. Thanks.

SkyTrak users need to edit the settings file and change Platform=TGC2019 to Platform=TGC in order to switch products.

I found that if you do it (for SkyTrak users) the way we did for TGC1, which is start the SkyTrak / TGC interface, connect box, the select start game, it will immediately launch TGC 2019.

However, if after selecting "Connect Box", if you click the TGC "Counsel" icon on your desktop, it will then load a screen where you select "Start Game" (there are some other things there too, like settings), you then have the option to select TGC 2019 or the original TGC.

I never noticed that in the setup video or instructions.

That is exactly how to do it. I did it that way when I had skytrak.

unless something has changed recently....no I do not believe TGC19 has a demo
