Hi am new to tgc when it shows club selection do you have to change it to which club your going to use ? it recommends a 7 iron for 160 yds, but ineed to hit a 6 ?

Not sure which launch monitor you are using, but generally the only time it matters is when you do or do not want to hit a putt. Wedge, iron, wood are all just cosmetic. The club you choose in-game has no impact on your shot (besides putter). -
The short answer is no, the only time you have to select a club is when you want to putt and you're off the putting surface.. The game calls for a wedge and you have to select putter. Other than that your launch monitor is reading the ball flight and club selection does not matter.My published Courses, all Lidar:
