The camera seems to do different things at times...i.e. sometimes it will do a panning view around the ball. I know this happens in the PC/console game. I want a very simple camera setup...basically a straightforward follow cam to follow the ball flight every time (similar to what red chain did). Is there a setting to make that happen?

Once in while it will do that. Usually when you hit an awesome shot. Makes it all more fun and exciting. -

Rdh, please understand that we really do not want to change the look and feel of the game in order to make it look and feel like "another" game (Red Chain, E6, PG, etc).
With over 100,000 players world wide, The Golf Club game has established its own identity. ProTee's mission is to add new functionality to make the game better for simulator play and not to change the identity or look and feel itself. We also do not want to add hundreds of sliders, buttons and scrollbars to support every single change request.
Each update brings new features and lots of new courses. There is a LOT of work involved to release an update. We need to test every detail, we need to build installers, send out new letters and make gigabytes of bandwidth available for downloads (yes, life is tough!).
Some requests will absolutely make it into the update, but your camera setting (sorry to tell you this) will not
.

Fair enough - I appreciate the detailed response. My preference is just to always follow with the ball to see what it's tracking toward. With the big swinging pan view you completely lose that and have no perspective on where it's headed (fairway, rough, sand or otherwise) until it lands. Anyway, I just throw out requests and if some make it in that's great...i'll just have to suck it up on the ones that don't.

Yea I agree, I don't have tgc on simulator yet as I'm waiting for it on the skytrak but I've played it a ton on ps4 and I wish I could get that follow cam as well on there. But obviously not a deal breaker to meComment

On the ps4 or steam version of the game you can turn the follow cam off in the settings and then manually hit space or a button on the ps4 or xbox controller to launch the follow cam at what ever point you want. Obviously not feasable to run to the keyboard in a simualtor setup.Comment

Thanks for mentioning that js1010. If that functionality were available in the simulator edition, I could trigger it through my interface...i'd just send a spacebar keypress 1 second after triggering a shot launch.
ProTee - Does this work in the simulator edition? If it doesn't, could we get that capability added to a future update since it's already in TGC software?Comment

also-I have the delay camera set to 0 and it tAkes at least 3-4 seconds for the shot to show up. Any help is appreciated!
