TGC version 2.9 ...

I was very excited when the download for the new version was made available. However, after briefly spending a few minutes looking over the changes it does not appear that any of the top 5 changes made the cut. Am I missing something ?

Added 6,000+ Golf Courses
Added Rustic theme
Added Winter Theme including yellow golf ball better green grid visibility
Added the ability to change texture colours.
Can change colour textures of Fairways, Rough, Greens and Bunkers
Added slider for Mowing Patterns
Added slider for the Mowing Intensity
Added lots of new apparel (shirts, pants, hats and shoes)
Added water quality setting
Small bug fixes

There will be a version 3 coming that will include more stuff.

I can't wait, 😀. Meanwhile I'll keep enjoying version 2.9, any timing on version 3.

Apparently it was all the other stuff that was slowing down the release. The issue was that they couldn't do a course sync without adding all the new textures so they decided to split the release in two. The first one which we just got allows us to play all the new courses. Once they get the bugs fixed with the other features we'll get another release. I don't think they know how long it will take to get the bugs fixed but hopefully not too long.

It should - "Magnolia National 2016 (ProTee 6356 yd)". I'm really looking forward to "GC of Houston (ProTee) V2"...looks fantastic and should be very playable. Also looking forward to trying the new sawgrass, although I expect that to be a challenge..."TPC at Sawgrass (ProTee)".

I played Pinehurst #2 tonight ... It was a blast!

Played the updated version of Magnolia and the new version of Sawgrass. Both were incredible. Nearly played 16, 17 and 18 at Sawgrass at 1 under but my par putt on 18 just missed...

You should get an email from Protee. If you didn't , open a ticket. It may be stuck in your spam.
