Sorry ProTee - you can delete my other thread. I started one but hadn't seen this one.

Amazing news today...the HB forums have tons of discussion going on and so much about the new version sounds incredible! MULTIPLE TEES AND PINS!!!

Great news.. Lots of great features. I look forward to this. Great work as always.

    What does this mean?
    • a) We won’t be adding a traditional lobby, but we will be improving live multiplayer extensively. We’ll be adding more game modes and the ability to play non friends.
Does that include guest profiles so that friends playing locally (on my sim) will be able to participate in online tourneys under their own login??

I was hoping they would move away from unity...I suspect the graphics will not be improved much at all.

I do hope they give the UI / UX alot more polish. The game takes far too long to load, cant switch between windowed or fullscreen (and needs borderless windowed mode). Some of the options screens are confusing (what is "Camera 1,2,3,4"...cant they add more descriptive names or show an example).

Another area that needs big improvement is course searching / favorites. I would like to be able to see in my favorites list: How many rounds I have played each course, my average score, yardage, my rating for the course.

If we can get better graphics, better UI, multiple tees/pins I would be happy.

And I also hope we dont have to pay another $1000 to upgrade!

+1 to the hope it won't be another 1k to upgrade. Having just purchased Skytrak and TGC, I can't afford to bite another 1k bullet. Hopefully, if they eventually kill off the TGC 1 servers, they will provide some mechanism to play in an offline mode.

TGC simulator edition is running on dedicated ProTee servers.

Will we have to pay for an upgrade if we have say SkyTrak + TGC?

Great, pay $900 just in time for the new game to be announced. Haha, figures. Does this mean the sim tour will be split up in the future, or will the TGC1 tour even be supported anymore once TGC2 is released?

Release for PC/XBox/PS4 will be Spring 2017. Simulator edition probably 3 to 6 months later...

I'm sure it will be cheaper to upgrade from TGC1 then buy TGC2 outright.

Curious as to what this will mean for us sim TGC users and if itll split the users and possible costs as well, but that still a real long time away and im not gonna worry about it to much until at leas the time the console version comes out.

Love the running water though, cant imagine how many amazing looking courses are gonna be made with this feature (wish it was in this version as well). Im very curious how the courses will transfer as well, is the whole database going to be wiped and the creators going to have to remake their amazing courses, or will they just transfer with an update on graphics?

Nevermind about the courses, just read on the HB forums that the courses were all going to be backwards compatible, excellent news

I wish they would upload videos in 60FPS. Very nice though
