Find a midpoint distance green side

It's been a while since I played TGC, and got used to how PG does things. One thing I cannot seem to figure out is how to find landing points on the green. All I can get is distance to the hole. But if I wanted to land it closer and figure out a rollout, that I can't seem to do. PG makes this easy by moving the mouse around. How do we do this on TGC? The mini-map is too small to be useful here.

Activate the Scout Camera (Q key) on your approach shot, them move around using WASD keys and mouse.

Will that show distances from the ball? What I am looking for is the digital version of walking off distances on a course.

agree a bunch. it's a bit of a glaring omission and a very fundamental part of a golf game.

        ...kinda like having multiple tees.

We could use a very zoomed in (extents of green only) minimap on top of the current full hole mini map for this functionality.

Maybe it becomes available after tee shots, or on par 3 tee shots. It's very useful to play short/long of hump/bumps in the green. I concur.
