TGC keyboard modification

Hey All
First thing, I was searching the forum and came across the JNPG air keyboard and saw the touchpad that was on it and thought to myself why was it not on the TGC, I grabbed my I pad and went into the app and rearranged some things and added this and went to TGC and tried this out, I am happy to say that this was working and you can use this for the mini map instead of a mouse like I was doing. I also PM Mike to have him modify his keyboard app so all can update if they so choose. But for those that want to use this now I will try to give steps on what I did


1. Go to design layouts click on the tgc this should put you into the design factor of the buttons and behavior.
2 You can now move the buttons and shrink or grow the buttons.
3 After opening up room for the touch pad go to the + and click, this will put a button at the top left move this to the open area and then expand to the size you want, then go to the "type" in key combinations and click on touch pad, you can go to the background and choose between gray and black, that's pretty much it.
4. To add the S and W do the same thing if you want to move the flag on the green you can also go into the image in settings and add arrows to this
I hope this helps and gets people able to use this option until mike tweaks his keyboard.

Hi All,

Question. I am going to use my ST outside only. Want to run TGC and have a gaming computer ~ 20 feet away. Was planning on using an iPad to control my computer using teamviewer etc. Getting a USB extension cord and plugging it directly into my computer from my ST. Obviously, I don't want to run in and out of the house to play.

Would setting up the remote and controlling the remote from my phone work? I could then use the ipad strictly for viewing only (while remoting everything from the phone)

Let me know if that would work.

it should work that way it sounds like it should work. I think the only thing you need is wifi out of your desktop

Hello Mike80, Mike80 aeroburner When I went to install air keyboard in Windows 10 the install program requested I install .net 2. There are 3 versions of it so how does one no which one? Installed the first option of the 3. Air Keyboard is in control but I have an issue with some of the mapped buttons. They either do nothing or go to a different function. What am I doing incorrectly? The functions that work correctly are awesome. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

which buttons are not working correctly there are a few on this keyboard that are not exactly right the best way to describe the ones that I also see having issues are the black buttons with the white lettering except for enter button, the formula in these are not adjusted correctly you can modify these yourself or just go to menu and use the up and down arrow to get to those areas.

aeroburner ... I was not. Not sure how to modify template yet. It is mainly the black button with white type that are not working correctly. I would love for it to work with full function though. Limited on time. Any advice is welcome. Thanks

Thanks Aero! Just applied this to my keyboard, worked like a charm. Had to do all of the adjusting through my ipad. Is there a way to create new functions through pc instead of doing it all on the ipad? The touchpad is amazing!

I did everything through the I pad as it is a touch screen and could shrink buttons rather quickly on it with out going into typing sizes I wanted I will look into it though and let you know.

aeroburner .. got it all working... added a mousepad.. remapped some of the buttons that didn't work well for me... it is awesome.. thanks

Has anyone published these changes yet for us lazy people? Also, seems like a few buttons where broken after the last update. Hopefully the next TCG update uses keyboard shortcuts for all menu items so things like this utility could get much easier to set up.
