what think about asking new license many times?

im using TGC for a long time. and i asked new license 3 or 4 times to protee in a short time

so when i asked new license key.. protee customer said to me 'You have requested many licenses in a short time. Please make sure you do not use old licenses or run multiple computers as they all might get locked out.'

but i didnt try my license key for using multiple computers.. just i reset my computer for fixing problem and upgraded my computer for HTC VIVE and TGC VR.

first time i had to reinstall my laptop for finding my bluetooth problem. when i asked my problem to protee.. they didnt give good answer to me..

so i reinstall my laptop because i didnt have any problem before. so i asked new license key to protee. but after reinstall win10.. i had still problem. GSX just stop..

so i was using TGC with stop problem.. but i found how i can fix it with this

but protee didnt say this to me when i asked my problem..

anyway..

i bought HTC VIVE for play TGC VR. but when i play it.. my laptop's GTX970m wasnt good for TGC VR.

so i changed my laptop to more good laptop(gtx1070). so i needed to ask license key again. but my new laptop still wasnt good for TGC VR. another game was good but GTX1070 wasnt good too for TGC VR for using super sampler 2.0

so i changed again my new laptop to more good PC(I7 6700 and GTX1080). so i needed to ask license again..

at that time protee said this 'Please make sure you do not use old licenses or run multiple computers as they all might get locked out' even i didnt have any idea like this..

this words made me very uncomfortable. my feeling was like im bad person for saving money to use multiple computers with one license.. and they doubt me..

im korean. and i dont know about American culture exactly.. but our customer service dont say like this and dont doubt customer..


my new PC(gtx1080) isnt good for TGC VR same.. so i have plan to change my PC to more good CPU and Titan X.. so i need to ask new license key again soon.

and somebody use one computer for TGC and they dont change anything.. but im not using my computer for only TGC sim.. im using many things with my computer so i reinstall my computer manytimes.. and i upgrade my PC many times for better pc life..

this is my story why i asked license key many times.


so... is it bad to ask new license key many times? if they didnt make license key like this.. and they just check IP address or use Dongle.. i didnt need to ask everytime i change my computer..

i think i will ask license key to protee more times.. but i dont want to get any bad feeling for asking license key because i paid money and i have a right to using TGC sim.


im wondering what do you think like this? was i ask too much?

Sorry, maybe its a cultural difference. It has nothing todo with you personally. We have a system in place that will block the use of the same license running on multiple systems. Unfortunately this is needed to protect our electronic license system. So again please make sure you do not use old licenses or run multiple computers as they all might get locked out.

We run TGC VR on GTX1080 without any issues.

the reason I built my computer the way I did was exactly what you are going through on game play, the New Arizona sunshine has walls set up in the parameters that will only run I7 6700 k skylake and a 1080 graphics card, sorry about the laptop issue but the graphic card on a laptop compared to a desktop is a big difference. VR is a beast in it self to run properly and now the gaming is growing and the graphics and processor is needing to take the load. so you need to make sure your not left behind. protee is always cool just send them a christmas card they will appreciate

Its annoying that this DRM scheme is so unfriendly to its customers. I cant stand this type of system, but it seems to be the wave of the future. Not sure how many pirates it stops, probably a handful. But it is annoying that it affects all legitimate users. I would like to be able to install on my laptop and desktop, but cannot to that. I just have to kick the kids off the desktop if I want to play golf!

There must be a better way. The skytrak must have some unique identifier that the TGC software could be bound to. Then you could run TGC on any computer attached to the skytrak.

That said, Protee has done 1 transfer so far for me, and it took just a few hours to complete. So the overall system sucks, but at least Protee is responsive when you need support.

Agree here. Also will say that protee is great and quick with everything Ive ever needed with them but would also love to have a way to download it on my laptop and desktop as well

ok. i think i misunderstood your words. me too.. sorry about my upset feeling.. and i wish you will understand my computer style even i will ask license many times..

and i cant get high graphic option on TGC VR with i7 6700 and GTX1080.

i think TGC VR is sooo awesome for practicing real life golf. so i want to play TGC VR with most high graphic option like super sampling 2.0.. and in game graphic option high too

but i cant get it.. my limit option is super sampling 1.5 and graphic option is medium. if i set high graphic option.. too shaky screen and moving control..

so can you get high option? my vr mark score is 9400. how much can you get vr mark score?

I have gone from protee to skytrak to es16 back to protee, then back es16 before finally going to gc2. Protee has been great. They have always been quick to respond each time.

It would be great to be able to put tgc on my laptop in addition to my gaming rig so I could be portable.

If you guys want TGC on multiple PC's for the course designer, it's pretty cheap for the Steam Version. I bought it on my laptop for 10 bucks and on my kids Xbox. The laptop couldn't hack it though.

If you want to be able to use it on a laptop at the range or something it's understandable but wouldn't allowing that open ProTee to having 4 people split tgc and run it on 4 PC's? I only have 1 PC that can run it but I get the desire.
