Setting Boost in TGC - SkyTrak settings

So I've seen the settings file to adjust driver, iron and wedge boost, along with the other options.

Dumb question. If I want to boost the driver by 10 percent increase, what number do I put in? Do I put 10, or +10, or 10%, or +10%?

I guess I could experiment with the file and find out, but wanted to see if anyone new first.

This might be dumb question, but what does the boost do?

If you find that your irons are accurate but your driver is about 10% short compared to real life. You can boost your driver 10% to match real life distance.

Not on my TGC PC right now, but I believe I set the driver to 5% when I first noticed it was short. I see on the tour postings from ProTee United it says boost +/- 5%. Is that still accurate and allowed on the tour?

5% is max allowed on the tour. Outside the tour you can boost upto 50% if it makes you feel better ;-)

SO where do you find the file to adjust these boosts??

Is this an issue with all LMs under reporting driving distance, or just SkyTrak? Or is TGC not calculating the driving distance accurately?

I am assuming TGC uses suggested club to determine if and when to boost? Normally I don’t even look at club suggested but if using boost I will have to

Gonna hijack this thread a bit, but will negative boosts work? My wedges are going too far.
