  • Angel Park Mountain Course - Las Vegas, NV Lidar, Kid Friendly

As always, I put kids tees as the shortest tees. Easiest pins on 1, and challenge pins on 4.

Published as: Angel Park Mountain Lidar V1

Welcome to the most complete golf experience in all of Las Vegas. Two championship courses, combined with a fully night lighted par 3 course, makes this most diversified golf experience for golfers of any caliber.

To complete the package, there are great practice facilities, golf schools and lessons, a real grass putting course, and a restaurant that competes with the best in town. Enjoy patio parties and live entertainment in the evenings off the course. Since 1990, Angel Park has been a true part of the neighborhood.

The Mountain Course opened in 1990 and was designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer and has beautiful views of the Red Rock Mountains. Situated on the west side of the property, the Mountain Course is slightly longer than the Palm Course and has more difficulty playing the par 5's and par 4's. Like the Palm Course, the Mountain Course has some challenging putting surfaces and a player must have great focus to make putts.

Sure is. I'm working on the other 2.75 courses at Angel Park now. The par 3 course was one of the main lidar development courses - the others being Lake Forest and Muirfield. There's another full 18 hole course, a 2nd routing for the par 3, and a little putting course over there too.

Let me know how they work out. I try to make it so they are playable, but every once in a while there's a forced carry I can't avoid.

This is my favorite course ATM.

I'm so pumped when I see tees like this. You get your kids involved while working on your irons. And your wife gives you props for caring for the kids. Huge win-win!

I think each player can choose a different set of tees as well. When possible I try to make it so that the shortest tees are similar to the longer ones.

Thanks Chad. My son played tournaments on the mountain course when he was younger, so this is very nostalgic for us. You even have the same short tees available, lol. Its like we are back there.

Republished as V2. Fixed missing pins that would break the game on the simulator side if you selected any pinset other than 1.

Played ChadGolf 's short course Angel Park Cloud 9 with my son.
Course is fun and short for junior, but we couldn't finish.
He had enough of golf after 6holes...
will play again with my son soon.

            Here is the stream.
