  • Help with swing cameras

I am loving the upgrade from Skytrak to Uneekor QED. An additional upgrade that I'd like to make is adding swing cameras that can play nicely with the QED software. My conundrum is that I only have 7ft of distance from the center of my hitting mat to the wall behind me (for the down the line camera). I have gathered from other members here that I need a 120fps camera with global shutter, but I'm totally lost on what the specs should be beyond that. Is there a camera that I can use from only 7ft that won't have fish eye distortion? Is the determining spec the lens size? How about an online tool or reference chart for determining field of view based on distance from object?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've been using these. They are not amazing kind of dark, but they work and have an adjustable lens with a IR filter. It's crazy what it looks like without an IR filter. Just red light everywhere. I'm sure there's much better out there, but it works for me and they were cheap.

Probably 7 feet in both directions.

I would advise holding off a few days on making any choices about cameras for the Uneekor, I am fairly sure there will be some new information to be had very very soon.

I am curious about a good reasonably priced option too. I understand Uneekor is coming out with an option of their own soon, but $1200 isn't something I would be interested in.
