After setting up the enclosure (SIG10) and the hitting mat fiberbuilt center hitting. I realise i cant hit driver from center. Terrible planning on my part. Every other club is good. So now my plan is to mount the eyexo on a sliding rail to move over for driver. As i dont really need to hitting strip as much for a driver. I have read a few post about it. Has anyone here tried using a unistrut and trolley system. It would be way cheaper than the inhomegolf motorized option. He quoted me at 1300.00. I figure if i move left to tight at most 2 feet to be comfortable it would work.

If your turf is different at the different hitting locations, that could give you misread problems. I don't know for sure but it's possible. Why not just permanently shift your hitting area for all clubs? I hit 2.5ft from center, no big deal.

Same here. I think I'd try to find a way to move your hitting area vs. move the Uneekor. Way more complexity with the latter (without understanding your room layout at least). If you're trying to accommodate lefties and righties, then I understand why you saw you need the slider, but if just accommodating your own swing direction, I'd just hit off center as that is fairly common.

Yea my best bud who i play constantly with is a lefty. Whit space constraints uneekor was best option. Ive read as long as you are still level and square from hitting area to uneekor. It will still be calibrated fine. Trust me is kills me he is left handed. This whole thing has double in cost due to it. Lol

I think you are talking about this set of rails?
I was asked to post some pictures of the slide rail for the Uneekor QED So figured this would be the best way to do it. Base unit I did was very simple just to do the testing to make sure it would function as planned and I did not see a need to spend extra cash just for testing purposes. Also because I did not really need the

You could also use the multiple hitting options button that you can select during calibration that supposedly doesn’t exist in the United States but actually does. Then you can set one area for driver and one area for putting and one area for everything else. Assuming you can fit the driver in the expanded area available to you that is…

Just go into the ‘eyexo tool’ application installed on your computer in order to calibrate the unit. At the bottom of the screen there is a toggle for multiple hitting areas.

Since I'm on QED I use the Z3Cam Tool for calibration. After calibrating on the grid then you move on to "Area Setting" and you can toggle off the "One Area Mode". That seems to give you a small area for the Tee (Driver) and a large area for the Irons and a separate Large area for the Putter. I noticed that when you pick the Driver then you can't putt, so it does seem to kind of work. However, I really don't see how to use this for Left Handed and Right Handed play.
Thanks for guiding me into this mode of operation. I had never tried this before, and I might be just the ticket for putting at an alternate location? However, for my current setup the One Area Mode seems to work best for me.

I will have a ready to go system for sale very soon. I have proofed out the manual slide system (easiest way to go in my opinion) and am writing some code for an automatic system that will automatically move to position when called by either a control box or computer program. I will get some pictures up here soon. Cheers!

Let me know once you get everything finalized as I built a slide system out of a camera slider which works great... except when we forget to slide it back and we don't check the sensors before hitting. I looked into the Inhomegolf option but $1,300 is just crazy to motorize it.

Can do. I have a few designs to test, but they all seem to work well in simulation. Cheers.

My room is 14 feet wide and I am considering an Eye XO. I am left handed and my son is right handed. If we need to move over 8-12 inches from center on each side, are we going to have issues? How wide will the Eye XO see off of midline? Since I am just about to start the project, I can always go with a different system mounted overhead like either FullSwing or GC Hawk to provide a larger hitting area, without have to deal with a slide or any other jury-rigged solution.

I think you are cutting it pretty close if you each need to move 12". Maybe someone with an Eye XO can try it? (I have QED). The mounting height might make a difference, especially if you need to mount it at the minimum height?

I am hoping that creating a separate hitting area for the driver will solve this issue. Ceiling is currently being raised to 11 feet, so Eye XO will be around 10 feet.Originally posted by IowaCat89 View PostI think you are cutting it pretty close if you each need to move 12".
