I have the QED and have loved it but the marked balls are a pain so i want to upgrade. Saying that....$7k is a lot just to get rid of the marked balls. Does the XR do anything else? Is it more accurate or have a bigger hitting area etc? Thanks
-
The XR actually has a smaller hitting area than the QED. If you are happy with the QED other than the marked balls, I would encourage you to try a dozen of the milled ProV1's. They take all of the hassle out of the marked balls. Most folks get about a year of usage from a dozen milled balls, which is drastically more economical than upgrading launch monitors.
Technology is always changing, and eventually everyone will upgrade. However, delaying the upgrade can really be financially attractive if you already have a rock-solid launch monitor that you are happy with.

Thanks IowaCat89
I'll upgrade the projector and pc this year then and put off the LM for a while. Do you have a link or can you DM me about the milled balls? I couldn't find much on the forum about them. Unfortunately my issue is shipping as I'm in Asia but I'll try to work something out

Shipping outside the US is a problem. I can make them for you, but postage might be outrageous. I'm always shocked at how high Canada is, but I have not even looked at Asia. I guess my comments were based on a person in the US. I typically use the US postal service, and I could see what they say for a price. In my experience, the rate is the same for the whole country (Canada).
