Worst "Protee" Courses You'e Played

So I was looking to play a course that has "Protee" in it and came across Martindale Hills. I would have to say, this is one of the worst "nicest" courses I've seen. It's designed well, but really has too many holes that are unplayable. Many shots from the fairway have shots to/towards the green that you have to hit over 160' high. I played many shots from about 3/4 the way up the hill. They have downhill shots that are similar and i can say that thanks to a downhill hole of 200+' feet, I hit a drive that went over 300yds. There is a par 3 around 165yds that is about 160-180' downhill.

Anyway, any other "Protee" courses that you've played that are like this?

I have played a few of these types of courses, but always quit before I completed them. Wish I would have recorded these now.

I recently played the Torrey Pines courses. My reason for them being among the worst is the way the "Q" works around the green. When selecting the scout camera the screen turns around puts you no where near the flag so you have to scroll to see the break. It is most annoying and a total waste of time. I wonder why the creators of the course do this. I have played others that do this as well, I always give around a 1 or 2 rating after the game is finished. Back to the Torrey Pines, everything else is fine with the course.

The creator of the course doesn't control what the scout cam does. The problem is in your settings. You can set it to the pin or the distance of the club in the top right

I might agree with you if this same thing happened on all courses. However it does not. Believe me I don't go changing settings so I can say bad things about a creator.

Also it happens only around the green from far away the scout cam works fine.

It only happens on certain courses and it's a PITA, so much so i went back to the other setting that sometimes goes beyond the pin and you have to drag it back. It's not a setting issue otherwise it would be consistent on all courses which it is not.

If there’s a setting in the creator to control the scout cam it’s news to me and I have created lots. Like wbond I went back to the old setting for the same reason. Another bug maybe. Not the creator. If I’m wrong I’d be happy to admit it but the scout to pin feature is sim only, not an HB thing.

Along those lines let me ask this question, does the creator pick what club is used at the tee?

The designer doesn't pick the specific club, but they set the distance for which the game chooses a club for.

True but a creator has no impact on approach shots and the clubs selected. The creator puts the landing area and if it's less than driver the player will get a less than driver suggested.
