Craig it looks great. Just a note when naming them. It seems that when you had (Protee) in brackets it would not show up when just entering Protee. If that was actually the case and not something else, just don't use the (..) in the name.

While I agree the countryside theme looks sweet. I can play with the links theme lighting to make it look more realistic (see below). By the time I get this done there will be countless courses with the countryside theme. I think the change will be welcomed.

That helps. Maybe plant a lot of those little bushes to in place of the tall grass?

Rumor has it that Biggins is working on St. Andrews. His stuff is top notch . There are a few fictional links courses but they are pretty tough and most are 7000 yards plus. Here is a site to looks through some of them http://www.tgctours.com/Course/Listi...r=Rating~gte~3

Old Beaver Creek Protee by Reebdog and ADX has just been published on Protee server. Reebdog did the Oaks at Westchester that we played on a couple of weeks ago........Loved that course. I shortened this to a simulator friendly 6600 yards. Definitely should find its way into our tournament rotation.

Just published Glan Pentref Golff Clwb ProTee by DoGgzbollox.

6350 yards with exactly medium fairways and exactly medium greens. Very nice looking course.

I believe Cart asked this question, but I'm not sure in which forum though, so here it goes again. Is there a way to save course you've played so that you can play them again in offline mode?

The game will automatically save a course you recently played online to your hardrive. But you can't pick and choose courses you want to save for offline play.

So if it is saved to my hard drive how do I access it for offline play? And does it show up in a list somewhere?

Another question; there seems to be soooo many great courses out there all at 7,000 yards plus which have been designed for console play. Will the day come when we will be able to play those coursed from shorter tees, with easier course set ups?

Probably not most of them. Only the course creater can modify their courses. Unless you have the course file! Zmax and I have been trying to get course files for the nicer courses as they come out. Several of the designers have been kind enough to share these. We have cut down the yardage, adjusted green speed, removed trees...etc before publishing on Protee servers. All of these course have been published with "Protee" in the course title on our server to ease finding them.
