The mirroring might have been done just prior to Biggins publishing Shakespeare.

The problem is Pine Valley has numerous waste areas that make it hard to shorten the course much. The blue tees are only about 6500 . Lots of downhill shots so in reality it plays around 6200.

Highfade (Adriaan) was kind enough to send me his course file for Zithobeni Golf Club course. It earned a 5 star rating at TGCtours. Beautiful Countryside themed course.

I played "The Marina at Jansen's Landing" yesterday, a nice track, 6,880 yards long and greens a bit fast though so may not be for everyone, but I'd definitely give it an 8.5 out of 10,

Just played The Golf Club at Hunter Meadows on PS4. Good course, seemed playable as is on sim. Might be a little long for some folks though.

Yes I'm thinking 7,273 yards a bit long for sim play.

When you 'get the file' - are you able to make a shorter version of the course? What about changing how receptive greens are to holding shots?

Yes, I can do all that and have been doing it all along. Courses with "ProTee" in the name have been tweaked by either me or Craig.

It could be because I'm GC2 based - but while the green speed on most of those courses (w/ ProTee in the name) seems reasonable, the greens do not seem to be receptive enough holding shots. I've thought about tweaking my backspin numbers, but there are courses where holding greens is much easier - I wouldn't want to tweak my backspin numbers if its just a course design feature.

In addition to the green speed setting there is also a firmness setting. The firmer this setting the less receptive the greens are.

Flat Putting Green ProTee published. Firmness and speed are both at 12:00. All regular tournament courses have been set to these exact settings.
