Excellent Hoosierdaddy. So will you publish it or is he going to publish it? Will the yardages be adjusted? Thank him again.

Cloumbia National Golf Links Protee by Reebdoog published. Just published another great course by Reebdoog that he put together for us sim guys. This is a rehash of his Swindon Downs done in the Borreal theme and reconfigured for Sim. It is not a long course but gorgeous and strategic. Was always one of my favorite early build courses. Will become a favorite for sim users I am sure.

Theclv24 just sent me his protee version of Chambers Bay that did not make it onto the new update. It measures a more reasonable 6800 yards (vs 7300 for the version included in the new 15,000 courses). Actually plays shorter than that with all of the elevated Tee's. Course is published as Chambers Bay Protee Blue tees by Theclv24.

He also tossed me his latest fictional course to publish Wild Fire Ridge Protee by Theclv24. Probably one of the best desert course layouts I have seen in awhile.

On top of that..........these Real Courses are coming over the next 6 months or so:

Theclv is working on ..........Oakmount, Harbour Town and he must be getting close to finishing Merion.

I am planning on working on 2 new recreations.... Riviera CC and Beth Page Black

              Thanks, Craig.

Also, HB just released the july update with yet another theme "HIghlands" . It looks like it might be worth seeing how your Whisteling Straits looks in it. I know it will be a while before we (protee) see this theme as we don't have tropical, delta yet. From the few pics i have seen it might be worth checking this out to see it improves your courses look. Its great as is but i am sure you know some of the newer themes have better colors to some of the objects that makes courses look more natural.

I tried it briefley, the bunkers get shrunk a bit and distorted with the highlands theme . I dont think the plots match up with the themes...the land gets stretched. The thousand bunkers dont help.

I live across the street from Chambers Bay and have played it a couple of times per year since it has opened. I checked out Theclv24's version this morning and got through about 4 holes. He has done an amazing job replicating the course...incredible!!

I'm salivating waiting to play these courses when I get my sim in place! One thing I wonder - I've been playing on a local GC2/Foresight sports sim and the graphics seem to be cartoonish to me - I have the PC version of TGC and it does not appear like that at all.

Does this have anything to do with the projection being used at the sim/bar I'm going to,
Or is it because they are using the kiosk version (with touch screen) for the GC2 where I am playing? Anyone done a quick comparison? I just pray the system I setup looks way better than what I'm playing on!

It's because the software is cartoonish.

Bret let's not get off topic hear. This thread is on favorite TGC courses. You understand there are different sim softwares? The Foresight software you are using is most likely there original Red Chain software or FSX. Yes it's more cartoonish. Let's keep with the thread of favourite TGC courses.

Hey Craig, that's great on Riviera, a fantastic course for sure! Is there anywhere we can find the top real courses with user ratings and also yardages? This would be great to have.

These look AWESOME Craig! Highlands will be included in the next update. Also Tropical and Delta will be included.

As you know the Auto-Rewind will be in our next update. Did you create any driving ranges besides the H2O one?

Have not created any driving ranges. Been hoping the minimap features (like redchain) would be implimented soon so you can place your ball anywhere on the range (or course). Is this coming anytime soon? Ultimately that will dictate the design of any driving range. If you tee from the same spot everytime there are limitations to designing a driving range.
