Murphys Creek 2.0 - Course Guide

For many years the Murphys lived and played among the land where this country style golf course sits. They enjoyed life to the fullest. The land has great hunting and fishing opportunities and now you can also play golf. Among the course you will find a few abandoned homes from the Murphy family. We ask that you not disturb these homes. We hear rumors that some of these homes may be haunted. We ask that you are off the course well before dark. The golf course is a short 6618 yards with fast greens so you can leave early. Getting close to the pin will be your key to success here. Murphy Creek meanders throughout the property and comes into play on many holes. Enjoy your rounds !!!
Hole 1: (Double Wide) 397 yard Par 4 - Choose your first fairway based on todays wind to give you a easier approach to the pin. Left or Right. Your choice.
Hole 2: (Waste Water) 557 yard Par 5 - Avoid the small waste water pond left short of the green. Snakes. Big Snakes. Best to Lay Up on 2nd shot.
Hole 3: (Bogeys Bunker) 124 yard Par 3 - If you find yourself in the deep bunker over the green, you will understand where the name came from.
Hole 4: (Crooked Leg) 378 yard Par 4 - Dogleg right Par 4. Depending on the wind, 5 wood off the tee might be your best shot. Or you can do like everyone else and cut it around the trees.
Hole 5: (Not for TST) 562 yard Par 5 - I almost re-designed this hole since it would not work on TST very well. But then I thought, nobody plays my courses anyway
Hole 6: (Uncle Lumbs House) 133 yard Par 3 - We think he moved out. We hope somebody told him the Murphys sold the property. Everyone is afraid to knock on the door. Putt Out Fast !
Hole 7: (Worst Shortcut Ever) 339 yard Par 4 - Trust me. Straight away tee shot - pitch shot to green. Make sure you get far enough or short enough to avoid the trees we forgot to cut down.
Hole 8: (Move Along) 387 yard Par 4 - Hit your second shot and move along. The fairway sits on Uncle Lumbs old front yard.
Hole 9: (She's Smiling At Me) 368 yard Par 4 - Drive over the creek twice with one shot. Driver will leave you with a uphill pitch shot.
Hole 10: (Catfish Creek) 531 yard Par 5 - The Murphy family caught tons of catfish here over the years. Cousin Woodrow was pulled into the water by a biggin' one day.
Hole 11: (Don't Be Short) 117 yard Par 3 - The front of the green extends out into Murphys Creek. And yes, that is where you will most likely find the pin.
Hole 12: (Delberts Island) 326 yard Par 4 - Uncle Delbert has been missing for years. All they know is that he left his boat out near the island. It's still there. Driver off the tee.
Hole 13: (Upey Downey) 468 yard Par 4 - Your choice. Going right leaves a flatter approach shot into this long Par 4. Unless the pin is on the back - avoid being on the back of this green.
Hole 14: (Jesses Deer Stand) 418 yard Par 4 - Grandpa Jesse had a deer stand where the green sits. Take time to enjoy the rocks and wild flowers before hitting your second shot.
Hole 15: (Frog Leg Pond) 181 yard Par 3 - Be short of the pin. This green slopes back to front. Par is a great score on this tricky green.
Hole 16: (Perfect Picnic) 470 yard Par 4 - Use your yardage book on your second shot. The big fairway trap makes the green look closer than it is. Land short right on green.
Hole 17: (Plain Day) 345 yard Par 4 - The most boring hole on the course. Not much to it. Driver, Pitch, Miss putt, Par.
Hole 18: (Homestead) 517 yard Par 5 - Home in Two ? This par five is reachable in two. You need a tee shot down the left side to avoid the big cedar tree on the right. -
