Good Evening All,
First time poster, long time viewer. I have finally decided to take the time and effort to build a golf simulator in my double garage. I have done some initial measurements and have decided upon a frame size of 7.5 ft wide by 7 ft high as I have restrictions within the garage.
I shall initially start off with the cage, an impact screen and mat, and then once happy get the projector, simulator device and laptop.
My question is regarding the size of the impact screen, does it need to be the same size as the back part of the cage or does it have to be fractionally smaller so that I can fix the screen to the frame via grommets and a hooking arrangement.
A note of thanks to the guys on the UK simulator topic as I have used there ideas for the cage, net, and suppliers.
Then finally, looking for somewhere in the UK to purchase a good mat which can be utilised to use the optishot system?
Many Thanks
Richie
